Day 1: Arrival into Cochin - Munnar (125kms / 0400hrs)

  • Arrive into Cochin International Airport located at Nedumbassery.
  • Meet our associate representative who will be holding a placard at the arrival hall.
  • Drive to Munnar nestled in the Western Ghats at an altitude of 1500-2500m above sea level. As you drive up the meandering roads and as the opaque fog lifts to reveal Sprawling Tea plantations, commission to shoot a video or capture exquisite landscape to rhapsodize.
  • Transfer to Pre-booked Hotel.
  • Check-in to hotel as per the standard check-in time.
  • Have lunch on your own.
  • After Lunch, proceed to visit Pothamedu and Blossom International Park.
    • Pothamedu: 6kms away from Munnar town, Pothemedu viewpoint offers panoramic view of Munnar tea, coffee and cardamom plantations, and adjoining valleys. On a clear day, you can even get a glimpse of Muthirapuzha River and Idukki arch dam. Undulating hills, the lush green vegetation and breathtaking scenery are for amateur photographers who are passionate capturing incredible sights. Pothamedu is also ideal for adventure lovers for trekking and long mountain walks.
    • Blossom International Park (Blossom Hydel Park): 3kms away from Munnar, the Blossom international park is located near the Pallivasal hydroelectric project. Sprawled over 16acres, the blossom international park has a garden with abundance of blooms and plethora of activities including Cycling, boating, roller skating, adventure trails, bird watching, badminton, play area for children with swings and ropeways.
  • Return to Hotel / Resort.
  • Dinner will be on your own.
  • Stay Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Munnar

    • Have breakfast at Hotel.
    • Meet our representative and Proceed to visit
      • Mattupetty Dam: 13kms away from Munnar, Mattupetty dam and lake is located near Anamudi Peaks at an altitude of 1700 meters. District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC), Idukki offers boating facilities. Speed launch, slow speedboat and motorboats are available on hire. Experience the Mother Nature at Mattupetty dam while you savour the boat ride. The sprawling Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake are other attractions in the precincts of Mattupetty dam. The town of Mattupetty is also famous for an Indo-Swiss farm.
      • Erivikulam National park: 15kms away from Munnar town, the Erivikulam National Park is outspread over 97sq.kms in the crest of Western Ghats, boasts a vast number of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Visitors allowed only to the tourism area of the sanctuary, which is in the Rajamala region where Nilagiri Tahr can be observed in close encounters. Visiting time: 0800 – 1700 hrs. Visitors are not allowed during the monsoon season. The Anamudi peak, the highest peak in the Western Ghats at an elevation of 2695m is located in the southern region of the Erivikulam National park.
    • Return to Hotel / Resort.

Day 3 :Munnar - Thekkady (90kms / 03:15hrs)

  • Have breakfast at Hotel.
  • Check out Hotel.
  • Meet our representative and drive to Thekkady.
  • Arrive into Thekkady.
    • Thekkady is famous for its world’s most fascinating Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, which is the home of a tiger reserve as well as boundless reserves of flora and fauna.
  • Check in to Resort as per the Standard Check in time.
  • Lunch & Dinner will be on Own.
  • Suggested Optional activities (*at an additional Cost):
    • Kathakalai Show, Elephant Ride, Bamboo Rafting, Jeep Safari, Natural Walk, Spice market visit etc
  • Return to Hotel and stay Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Thekkady - Alleppey (140kms / 04:00hrs)

    • Early morning, Proceed for a Boat ride in Periyar Lake.
      • The duration of the boat ride is 01:30hrs.
      • Boating on the Periyar Lake enables you to have a close look at the wildlife that inhabits the surrounding forests. Herds of elephant, bison and deer can be seen moving along the banks skirting the forest. Birds perched on tree stumps, offer a delightful sight while boating. In extremely rare cases and if you are lucky, you might even see a wild tiger. Regardless of whether you are fortunate with the sightings of animals or not, relish the boating in the calmness of the tranquil waters and breathtaking views of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
    • Return to Hotel. Have breakfast at Hotel.
    • Check out Hotel and Drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha).
    • Arrive into Alleppey. Embark House Boat (Kettuvallam) for Alleppey to Alleppey Backwater cruising.
      • Alleppey Backwaters: Intertwined by a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers, Alleppey called as “Venice of the East”, is stunningly beautiful. Alleppey to Alleppey is a one night round about cruise, which takes you through the legendary Punnamada Lake. The scenic beauty of rhythmically swaying coconut-fringed backwaters, paddy fields, and hushed water-bound villages astonish you. The most interesting aspect of backwaters is its complete harmony with which the Backwater tourism, local communities and nature coexist and respect each other.
    • Lunch served onboard Houseboat.
    • The Backwater cruising conclude at 1800hrs.
    • Dinner served onboard Houseboat.
    • Stay Overnight onboard Houseboat.

Day 5: Alleppey - Cochin (55kms / 01:30hrs) - Departure

  • Have breakfast on Boat.
  • Disembark Houseboat.
  • Drive to Cochin for a Sightseeing & Shopping (*Subject to flight departure time).
    • Suggested sightseeing places in Cochin – Fort Kochi (to see Chinese Fishing nets), Mattancherry Palace, Jewish (Paradesi) Synagogue, Marine Drive, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica.
  • Get dropped at Airport for your homebound flight.
